You are invited to attend one of our Rural Resourcing Roadshows. Now the summer holidays are behind us we would like to remind you of these upcoming events and invite you to book. Please find attached a poster for display. The Roadshows are for anyone interested in rural ministry.

We plan to do another suite of Roadshows next year.

The Rural Working Group of the Church of Scotland has been created to resource and support the 43% of Church of Scotland Parishes that are rural. We apologise if you have received this email in an entirely urban context, please feel free to discard.

The Rural Working Group have just created a suite of resources aimed at supporting the rural church and would like to share them with those interested in, or involved in, rural ministry  ministers and non ministers. We will be travelling round the country delivering Rural Resourcing Roadshows.

1100-1215 The nuts and bolts of running a rural church, governance streamlining, General Trustee Frequently asked questions
1215-1245 Building a Rural Forum
1245-1330 Lunch
1330-1430 How we can help each other, new resources available, sharing best practice, hints and tips
1430  1515 Ask the panel, discussion time
1515  1530 Closing worship

Cost

These events are free but we would be grateful if you would like to donate some money on the day towards your lunch.
