St Andrews Presbytery

Presbytery Conference 8th September 2018

St. Ayle- Cellardyke

This will be an all-day meeting.

Tea and coffee will be available from 9.30am and the conference session will begin with devotions at 10am.

We should be hearing from the Rev Susan Thorburn on her experience of being the Locum in a Guardianship Charge and then from Mr Raymond Young, The Chairman of the General Trustees of the Church of Scotland, on the future direction for buildings and their missional aspects. Normal business will be conducted in the afternoon.

IT IS ESSENTIAL that, for catering purposes, we know how many will be attending for lunch and for the whole of the meeting. Please indicate by the 15th August, 2018 who will be attending by completing and returning the attached form. Please specific if you have any dietary requirements.

As always the Presbytery meeting is open to all and we would be very happy to welcome any member of any church to the conference session in the morning, and if they wished, to attend the afternoon business meeting. It would be much appreciated if you would make the invitation to attend the Conference known to your Property Convener and their committee and all others who may be interested in this important aspect of our work and witness. If we can have their names in advance that would be most helpful and if they are staying for lunch we need to have a registration form from them before 15th August, 2018.

Please note that a registration form is attached here.

Kind Regards

Nigel J Robb
